REPAIR POLICY
     Repairs require an initial deposit of $60 / $85 that is used primarily for diagnostic work and is normally started within 1 week. Once started, the completion of work could take up to 2 weeks depending on the severity of the repair and any parts that the repair requires. Rush services are available and only refer to the start time of the work not the completion time. We will not exceed 2.5 hours of billable work or order parts without prior customer approval.
     Once work is completed, any computers left over 2 weeks are subject to a $2 / day storage fee, and after 60 days the computer is considered to be abandoned and will be disposed of properly or donated to a charitable organization.

REPAIR WARRANTY
     All repairs will have a 30 day warranty unless specified in writing differently and will start the day the computer is picked up. The warranty covers all hardware and labor given for a reapir job. Re-infection of viruses or malware is not covered under The Computer Cafe’s repair warranty. The Computer Cafe reatins sole discretion as to the specific application of a given repair warranty. All other warranties are stated at time of purchase.

SOFTWARE & PASSWORDS
     The customer  is responsible for providing usernames and/or passwords that grant The Computer Cafe access to the system as well as software installation disks, license codes, and serial numbers that may be required for the completion of the repair process.

DATA LOSS & CORRUPTION
     It is the customers responsibility to back up all data prior to computer repair.
Due to the volitile nature of computer repairs, The Computer Cafe is not responsible for ANY LOSS OR CORRUPTION OF DATA before, during or after repairs.

SPECIAL ORDER PARTS
     Parts that are considered special order, or “proprietary” require payment upon customer approval or prior to ordering.

RETURN POLICY
     All returns must be completed within a 14 day window from date of purchase. Returns must also be accompanied by reciept at the time of return.

SOFTWARE RETURNS
     If software must be activated or is licensed software, no returns will be accepted if that software has been opened.

RESTOCKING FEES
     Any product that is being returned and is still functional will be assessed a restocking fee and must be returned with original, undamaged packing materials.
        10% restocking fee for  all un-opened merchandise
        20% restocking fee for all  opened merchandise

TRAINING POLICY
     All fees associated with training, tutorials or classes must be paid in full before training takes place and are non-refundable. Any client wishing to re-schedule the training must do so within 24 hours. In the rare case that The Computer Cafe needs to re-schedule we will honor the class at another time.

PRIVACY POLICY
     Any personal or sensitive information we gather for any reason is for internal use only and is strickly confidential. The Computer Cafe does not participate in any information sharing for any reason.

DESIGN POLICY
     Design services are offered at an  hourly rate or through a written contract agreement. Any services that are based on an hourly rate will have a design consultation fee assessed at 1 hour of time. Any design proofs that are accepted fully or accepted with edits are considered billable up to that point. The design proofs can be accepted via written signature or via email. No other means will be accepted.
